Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026
The short version
- Your documents never leave your computer. NonaPDF opens, edits and saves PDFs on your own device. We never see them.
- We don’t collect personal information from the app or this website. There are no accounts, sign-ups, cookies, analytics, adverts or tracking.
- The only thing we count is downloads: a single running total, with nothing about who downloaded.
- If you send us feedback or an email, we use it only to read it and reply.
Who we are
NonaPDF is provided by ONEROCK GROUP LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17014989. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under number ZC257607.
For anything about privacy, email privacy@nonapdf.com.
The NonaPDF app
Your documents
Everything NonaPDF does to your PDFs, including viewing, editing, commenting, unlocking, redacting, protecting and organising pages, happens on your own computer. Your files and their contents are never sent to us or to anyone else.
No accounts and no tracking
NonaPDF has no accounts or sign-in. It doesn’t contain analytics, advertising, crash reporting or any other tracking, and it doesn’t send us information about how you use it.
When the app connects to the internet
NonaPDF works offline. It only connects to the internet in these cases:
| What | Why | What is sent |
|---|---|---|
| Checking for updates (nonapdf.com) | To find out if a newer version is available. You can turn this off under Help → Check for Updates Automatically. | A standard request for a small file listing the latest version. No information about you or your documents. |
| Downloading a free font (jsDelivr / Fontsource) | Only when an edit needs a free font that isn’t built into NonaPDF. | The name of the font file. Nothing from your document. |
As with any internet connection, the server you connect to can see your device’s IP address while it sends the file. Our own server is set up not to record IP addresses. jsDelivr is run by a third party with its own privacy policy.
Fonts on your PC
If you choose Use my PC’s fonts, Windows asks for permission and NonaPDF reads the fonts installed on your computer to match text. This stays on your device.
Your name on comments
Comments you add are labelled with a name, so people know who wrote them. By default this is your Windows user name; you can change it in the comments panel. The name is saved inside the PDF you save, and anyone you share that PDF with can see it. It is not sent to us.
Settings
NonaPDF stores a few settings on your computer, such as your theme, recent files and comment name, so it remembers them next time. They stay on your device and are removed if you uninstall NonaPDF.
This website
- No cookies. We don’t set cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
- No analytics, adverts or tracking. We don’t use Google Analytics or similar tools, social media buttons or tracking pixels.
- Nothing loaded from other companies. Our pages, images and fonts all come from our own server.
- Server logs. Our web server is set up not to record visitors’ IP addresses. Our hosting provider’s network handles your connection to deliver the page, as with any website.
Counting downloads
When you download NonaPDF, our server adds one to a running total, kept per day, per platform and per version. That number is all we keep. We don’t record your IP address, your browser or device, or anything else that could identify you. Requests that look like automated bots aren’t counted, and that check happens without saving anything.
Feedback
If you use our feedback form, we save the type of feedback you chose, your message, the date, and your email address only if you choose to give it. We don’t record your IP address, browser or anything else about you. The form doesn’t use cookies or outside spam-checking services.
We use feedback to improve NonaPDF and, if you gave your email, to reply. This is in our legitimate interest in improving NonaPDF. Feedback is stored on our own server and only we can see it. We delete messages once they’ve been dealt with, and keep any we still need for no longer than two years. You can ask us to delete your feedback at any time.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and help you, which is in our legitimate interest and yours. We don’t add you to a mailing list or share your details. We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message, normally no longer than two years. Please don’t send us private documents unless we’ve asked for one to look into a problem.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell, rent or share personal information. The only outside services involved are:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server for this website and updates.
- Our email provider, if you email us.
Children
NonaPDF doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted, among other rights. Because we don’t collect personal information through NonaPDF or this website, the only information we might hold is an email you sent us. To make a request, email privacy@nonapdf.com.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Future features
We’re working on NonaPDF for Android and iPhone, and we may add optional features, such as connecting to your own cloud storage. If a new feature needs to use any personal information, we’ll explain it clearly before you use it, it will be optional, and we’ll update this policy first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is important, we’ll say so on this website.
