Terms of use
Last updated: 8 November 2026
The short version
- NonaPDF is free to use, for personal and business use.
- Use it lawfully: only unlock or change documents you’re allowed to, and never use it to forge or alter documents to mislead anyone.
- It’s provided as it is. Keep copies of important files and check your work, especially redactions, before you share it.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the NonaPDF software (“NonaPDF”) and the website at nonapdf.com. NonaPDF is provided by ONEROCK GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17014989, whose registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using NonaPDF, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
2. Your licence
NonaPDF is free. We give you a free, non-exclusive licence to download, install and use NonaPDF on as many devices as you like, for personal or business purposes. You may share links to our website so others can download it.
You may not:
- sell NonaPDF, or charge others for it;
- distribute changed versions of NonaPDF, or pass them off as ours;
- remove or change our name, logos or copyright notices; or
- use the NonaPDF name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.
NonaPDF includes open-source components that are licensed under their own terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences. See our open-source licences page.
3. Using NonaPDF responsibly
You’re responsible for how you use NonaPDF and for the documents you work with. You must use it lawfully. In particular, you must not use NonaPDF to:
- forge, falsify or alter documents to deceive anyone, for example changing bank statements, payslips, certificates, identity documents or official records you then present as genuine;
- remove passwords or restrictions from documents you don’t own or aren’t authorised to change; or
- infringe anyone else’s copyright or other rights.
4. Redaction and protection
NonaPDF’s redaction is designed to remove hidden content from the pages you redact when you save. Password protection uses standard PDF encryption. Always check a saved copy before you share it, keep your passwords safe (we can’t recover them), and keep copies of your original files.
5. Updates
NonaPDF can check for and install updates. Updates may fix problems, improve features or change how things work. You can turn automatic update checks off in the Help menu. We may stop providing updates or the software at any time.
6. No warranty
NonaPDF is provided free and “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it will be free of errors, work with every PDF, or meet your particular needs. Keep backups of important documents. If you’re a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
7. Our responsibility to you
We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Otherwise, because NonaPDF is free:
- we aren’t responsible for loss or damage that wasn’t foreseeable, loss of data, documents or files, or any business losses (such as lost profit, revenue, contracts or opportunity); and
- our total liability to you for anything relating to NonaPDF or this website is limited to £100.
8. The website
We try to keep this website accurate and available, but it may change or be unavailable from time to time. You must not misuse it, for example by trying to break into it, overload it or use automated tools to download from it repeatedly.
9. Privacy
NonaPDF doesn’t collect your personal information. Please read our privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add features. We’ll change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using NonaPDF after a change, the updated terms apply.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using NonaPDF at any time by uninstalling it. If you seriously break these terms, your licence to use NonaPDF ends.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
